Musical director: Neil Streeter

The Haymarket, Basingstoke

New York, 1952.  The bright lights of Broadway!  From showgirls to gamblers, do-gooders to down-and-outs, all human life is here in the vibrant city that never sleeps!

Slick gambler Sky Masterson accepts a bet that he can make the next girl he sees fall in love with him.  But sparks fly when that girl turns out to be Sarah Brown, leader of the Save-a-Soul mission on Times Square.  Meanwhile Miss Adelaide, showgirl at the Hot Box nightclub, wonders if her wheeler-dealer fiancé Nathan Detroit will ever set a date for their wedding…

Guys and Dolls is full of fantastic characters, sizzling dance routines and some of the best songs in musical theatre – Luck Be A Lady, Sit Down You’re Rockin’ The Boat, If I Were A Bell, I’ve Never Been In Love Before and many more.

Audience Feedback

The whole show was a fantastic performance. Perfect casting, costumes - very good, scenery - original, singing - superb, and the choreography was particularly good.

I was absolutely astounded with the quality. There was not one single weak link in the entire cast, the set was phenomenal, the harmonies amazing and the dancing of the most professional quality

Congratulations, it was brilliant! How can you keep giving us such fantastic shows. We’re looking forward to next year’s extravaganzas; why not all go on to a London theatre because you’re just as good.
— Raymond West
