Anything Goes
7 - 17 November 2012

Director and choreographer: Ray Jeffery
Musical director: Neil Streeter

The Haymarket, Basingstoke
Evenings: 7:30 pm, Saturday matinees: 2:30 pm

Direct from the Golden Age of American musicals, Cole Porter’s Anything Goes is a sparkling, high energy show packed with classic songs including “I Get A Kick Out Of You”“It’s De-Lovely”“You’re The Top”“Blow, Gabriel Blow” and of course the toe-tapping title number “Anything Goes”.

A luxury liner - the S.S. American - is heading for England.  On board is stowaway Billy Crocker, who is pursuing Hope Harcourt, the debutante fiancée of English aristocrat Lord Oakleigh.  Amid the romance Moonface Martin, the raunchy Reno Sweeney and a smattering of doltish FBI agents add high farce to this dazzling musical comedy.
