Frederick, son of a wealthy 19th century man was to be apprenticed to a ‘pilot’, but his hard-of-hearing nursery maid instead apprenticed him to a ‘pirate’… of the not-so-fierce “Pirates of Penzance.” BATS brings this high-energy interpretation of the Broadway version of Gilbert and Sullivan's comic operetta to life.
